Installation - 1998

Palimpsest - 1992
paper etc prepared for writing on and wiping out again, like a slate- 1706 OED
a 5m x 4m hanging from bamboo of handmade paper from old sketch books...hence the title
with corresponding slate floor piece which changed format daily in response to the light and mood of the day.

SHADOW INSTALLATION in collaboration with composer - Pedro Rebelo 1997 - Dartington.
The artist and musician responded to/with each other . The music dictating the line dictating the music. The four walls of the room were lined with paper and the musician followed the artist around the room whilst the audience sat in the middle and turned themselves accordingly. After a period of two hours the drawing was taken off the wall and the audience tore off pieces of the drawing as a "visual" recording of the piece of music.

Table top - 1993 My most successful (or possibly Unsuccessful) "table top" was described by the owners as a "conversation stopper" for the guests who were totally bemused by sitting to eat on a "painting"..............
